Price beat policy
Found the same part, from the same brand, cheaper at another Australian retailer? We’ll beat their price by 5%.
How it works
Send us proof of the lower price before you order. Once we’ve checked it, we’ll offer you the part at the competitor’s price less 5% of that price. For example, if they sell it for $100.00, you pay $95.00.
The part must be identical
- The same brand and the same part number as our listing. A different brand, or a part the competitor calls equivalent or compatible, doesn’t qualify.
- The same pack size or quantity, new and unused, and in stock and available to buy from the competitor when we check.
Proof we accept
We only accept one of these:
- A written quote from the competitor, on their letterhead or quote form, showing their business name and ABN, the date, the brand, the part number and the price including GST. It must still be valid when you send it to us.
- A link to the product page on the competitor’s own Australian website, showing the price publicly (not behind a login or trade account) when we open it.
We can’t accept screenshots, photos of a screen or shelf ticket, prices read out over the phone, or a price someone else told you about. We need a quote or a live link we can check ourselves.
Who counts as a competitor
An Australian business with an ABN that sells the part in Australia, from its own store or its own website. These don’t qualify:
- Marketplaces and auction sites, such as eBay, Amazon Marketplace sellers, Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree.
- Overseas sellers, and websites that don’t ship from within Australia.
- Private sellers, and anyone selling used, second-hand or refurbished parts.
How we compare prices
We compare the total you would actually pay each of us for the part, including GST and delivery to the same address. If the competitor charges delivery and we don’t, or the other way round, that is counted.
Prices we can’t beat
- Trade, fleet, club or member-only prices, and prices that need a login or account to see.
- Clearance, closing-down, ex-display and damaged-stock sales.
- Multi-buy, bundle and “buy one get one” deals, and prices that depend on buying other items.
- Prices reached with coupons, promo codes, gift cards, cashback, loyalty points or rewards.
- Prices that are an obvious error, and prices we can’t confirm are current.
Other conditions
- The price beat applies to a new order you haven’t placed yet. We can’t apply it to an order that has already been paid.
- It applies to reasonable household quantities. We may limit the quantity at the beaten price.
- The offer lasts until the end of the next business day after we send it, while we have the part in stock.
- We decide whether a claim meets this policy. We may change or end the policy at any time; a price we have already offered you still stands until it expires.
How to claim
Email our contact page with the part number or a link to our listing, the competitor’s quote or link, and your delivery postcode. We’ll check it and reply with the beaten price and how to order at that price.
